Volunteer Testimonials

I have worked at numerous service projects during my years in high school and the Uhuru Breakfast Café is definitely one of the best projects I've been lucky to be a part of.  Last weekend I could have signed up for either the Uhuru booth or another project that is actually less than 10 minutes from my house, but I would rather drive over to St. Pete over any other project.

The family atmosphere inside the booth draws attention in, and it is such a joy to be a part of this great movement.  So I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to work with the Uhuru breakfast booth, and I hope that you continue to be successful in your involvement with the Uhuru movement and with the booth next year."
