Greetings vendors!

We are happy to announce the sixth season of the Uhuru Flea Markets in Clark Park, which runs from April to October! We are excited about this new season! We want to thank all our vendors, friends and supporters who helped us to win the victory of having another year with seven markets at Clark Park!

We do have to make some adjustments this year working in accordance with the requirements of the Parks Department and Friends of Clark Park. Note policies below.

It’s also become necessary to raise the space rates, which we have never done since we started in 2004. However, we are only raising the fee by $5 per space - $25 for a small space and $45 for a large space.

As you know, the Uhuru Flea Market at Clark Park has become one of the most popular of Philly's great flea markets. Due to increased vendor participation, we encourage everyone to get registrations in early. Park “A” renovation is scheduled to begin in June, after which the flea markets will be in Park “B”. We’ll keep everyone updated as we go through the season.

WE WILL BE ENFORCING THESE POLICIES, SO PLEASE NOTE:

• Check-in time is 7-9am. You must be checked in at the registration booth by 9am!

• You need to be unloaded into your space and setting up by 9:30am.

If you have not checked-in or spoken personally to the flea market coordinator by 9am, and you are not loaded into your space by 9:30, your space will be reassigned and your fee processed as a donation.

• Most unloading will be done from reserved spaces on Chester Ave. The poles will be marked with signs for unloading only in the morning. There is no parking in these spaces until signs are removed. No double-parking on Chester, trolleys right-of-way.

• There is minimal unloading on 43rd St until 7:30am. There is NO parking or double-parking on the park side (west) of 43rd St., it is the Farmers Market.

• It is suggested you bring a dolly and a friend so you can unload to the sidewalk and move your vehicle before bringing in your things.

NO VEHICLES IN THE PARK AT ANY TIME! (The only exception is the stage truck on Earth Day)
